About Lauren

Lauren is the award winning author of the “The Busy Wardrobe” - an innovative fashion series for children told from the perspective of the items hanging in your closet. Her books share the magic of fashion design with children, while inspiring creative energy to cope with big feelings.

Prior to moving to California and starting a family, Lauren was the CHANEL USA Director of Buying in New York City for nearly 10 years.

When Lauren is not writing fashion stories, she is teaching fashion design to students in grades K - 5 and spending time with her family.

Lauren’s passion lies with showing children how harnessing creative energy can help drive the journey of social emotional growth.
